Despite challenges in these desperate times, Bhaktivedanta Institute and our volunteers are actively engaged in helping those in need by providing food, shelter, running errands, animal care in different parts of India. These selfless bunch of people was keeping the spirit of humanity alive.

Food Distribution In Weekends

We distribute free meal to everyone who visits our centers during weekends.

In the past, we have served free meals to the children in schools at Nabadwip.

Our Mobile buses organized multiple food distribution to thousands of individuals in remote villages of India.

Though aging is an integral part of life, as the time unfolds to the last phases of life the challenges it presents will land the person into an alarming situation. At that point, the support, care and attention required to provide healing, comfort and solace is highly demanding

Give Them Nutrition

We serve for free – delicious, nutritious and well-balanced meals thrice a day to the elderly citizens who take shelter in our center.

Spiritual Education Programs

Our learned scholars in Vedanta conduct daily classes to impart spiritual education to the elderly in and around to fill with enough hope and strength.

Provide Supplements and Medication

We also offer free frequent health screening and treatment accordingly to ensure as much as possible the health controls come under normal line.

Tree Plantation

Tree Plantation drives combat many environmental issues like deforestation, erosion of soil, desertification in semi-arid areas, global warming and hence enhancing the beauty and balance of the environment.

Educates communities about the benefits of trees and nature

Plants also have the ability to naturally filter dirty water. Thus planting more trees would not only result in cleaner air, but it would also make the water clean too.

Cleans the air, absorbs odours and pollutants

Planting trees makes the environment immediately more beautiful. Trees help prevent soil erosion. They also absorb different pollutants and thus make the air-water and earth cleaner.  

Trees and plants are home to many wild creatures.

A lot of birds build their nests on trees. Plants support wildlife. Planting more trees would not only help humans but it will support the whole biodiversity.

Spiritual Mental Health

People with mental health problems can easily become isolated because of their illness and lose contact with family and friends and community support networks. Bhaktivedanta Institute services linked to mainstream activities in, for example, education, dialogues, and online lectures and seminars during the covid pandemic period that can help promote recovery, togetherness, happiness which are the basis of social inclusion.

Spiritual relationships are connections to self or soul, to others, to a higher power, or to nature. All relationships have the potential to be spiritual. 

Values

The spiritual literature consistent with a spiritual individual. These include finding meaning, altruistic love, self-awareness, visioning, and authenticity.

Life purpose

We all need to pause and reflect on the state of our lives, to be open to both inner and outer worlds. This process helps us to seek ways to return to, or advance, our spirituality.
